Dear Mr. Vierira,
The City of San Luis Obispo (“City”) received your request pursuant to the California Public Records
Act delivered via email on June 10, 2020. In addition to the linked files that I provided in my June 22,
2020, please find the cost and hours table below. The information is being provided in this manner as
a more expiditious form than generating reports from our payroll program. Note that every effort has
been made to be as accurate as possible for accounting the time and pay data that you requested,
“costs the city is incurring in dealing with these protests…” as of your request date, June 10, 2020.
However, not every department has employee time/pay detailed by task, and in most cases
management time is not included. Also note that the data in the table below reflects the same
information, in an abbreviated form, to the data provided in my response of June 22, 2020.
