Use caution when deciding to open attachments, click links, or respond. ________________________________ My response: NO and NO! Here’s why: These super big wineries have drilled deeply in the ground to get more water (not the cows that were once so plentiful) in what appears to show little respect of how much water they have taken from locals. Why are we awarding this bad behavior? In my opinion, Mychal Boerman has worked so hard to make our recycled water a successful program albeit it appears to need more infrastructure to locally expand. In addition, we spent the money doing so. I am opposed to selling water outside the city limits when it is a city utility program. We are not in that business— the efforts to do so in my opinion, would take away city resources to focus on improving our needs in which is why we have local government. One other question: is this water good for agriculture? I assume it must be or this wouldn’t be under consideration. Thank you for reviewing my comments. Gail P’S I would be happy if the city could make a code determination (17.100.10) regarding light intrusion from the pathway light approximately 20’ away from behind my house. 1
