1. CALL TO ORDER
A Special Closed Session Meeting of the San Luis Obispo City Council was
called to order on February 29, 2024 at 9:00 a.m. in the Council Hearing Room at
City Hall, 990 Palm Street, San Luis Obispo, by Mayor Stewart.

Action: Mary Egan, Consultant MRG indicated that no reportable action
was taken.

3.c PUBLIC EMPLOYEE APPOINTMENT
Title: Interim City Manager
3.c.1 CONFERENCE WITH LABOR NEGOTIATORS
Action on Items 3b and 3c: City Attorney Christine Dietrick indicated that
the City Council unanimously provided direction to its labor negotiators to
proceed immediately with negotiation and selection of an executive
recruiter to support the Council’s appointment of an Interim City Manager,
as well as the recruitment and selection process for the City’s permanent
City Manager.
4. ADJOURNMENT
The meeting was adjourned at 12:02 p.m. The next Regular Meeting of the City
Council will be held on March 5, 2024 at 5:30 p.m. in the Council Chambers at
City Hall, 990 Palm Street, San Luis Obispo.
