The Poundmasters report for the month of January was received and ordered
filed on motion of H.B. Kirtland seconded by John Chapek.
The matter of the license ordinance was tentatively completed and the
City Attorney was instructed to make a draft of same.
On motion of H.B. Kirtland seconded by James Piper the meeting adjourned to
Monday, February 9th 1920, at 7:30 P.M.
Ayes : H.B. Kirtland, H.A. Gorman, James Piper, John Chapek, L.F. Sinsheimer.
Noes : Done.
Absent': None.

City Council met in regular session , Mayot L.F. Sinsheimer presiding.
Present James Pipwr.,.:John Chapek , L.F. Sinsheimer .
Absent H.B. Kirtland ,'-H.A. Gowman.
The minutes of Feb.2d, Feb.5th.,and 9th. were read and approved as
amended on motion of James Piper seconded by John Chapek.
Communication read from Chamber of Commerce relative to the organization of
a Company of National Guard in the City of San Luis Obispo. By the following vote
it was ordered that the matter lay on'the table.
Ayes : James Piper , John Chapek , L.F. Sinsheimer.
Noes : None
Absent :. H.B. Kirtland, H.A. GoWman.
A petition was received from Mrs Viril Weston requesting that a street light
be placed at the corner of Essex and Ella Streets. On motion'of James Piper seconded
by John.Chapek the matter was referred to the Commissioner of Public Works for
investigation and report.
