On motion of John Chapek seconded by H.B. Kirtland the labor bills ,Jere
ordered paid.
Mr. P.L i�7arren. cf the San Luis Ice & Cold Stora;-re Co was before the Council
` relative to the erection of certain additions to buildings of that Company, which •'Vould

necessitate the removal of the Pacific Coast Railway Ccnpanys Spur Tracks about 25 feet
� a westerly. The matter was referred to the Commissioner of Public Works and the
City Attorney for investigation and report.

On motion of John Chapek secondedi.by H.B. Kirtland , Paul Pergiclictes was
granted permit to remodel front of Store building in Block 13.
On motion duly seconded and carried Cynthia Foxen was granted permit to lay
110 feet and 113 feet of full width side.alk on Osos and Pismo Streets respectively, also
113 feet of curbinc, on Pismo Street.

Relative to the application of J.14. Sims , Supt. of Pacific Coast Railway Co.,
for permit to grove the railroad crossing on High Street about 2= feet westerly -- made
necessary because of the intention of the Sean Luis Ice & Cold Storage Cor::tany to erect an
/ � e addition to ware house on ground now occupied by railroad spur track, it -xas moved by
kil-� John Chapek and seconded by James Piper and carried that the permit be granted with the
understanding that the new track be maintained on the same terms and under the same
conditions as the present track ,and the removwl to be without prejudice to any right of the
City or reservation existing on its behalf.

On motion of James Piper seconded by John Chapek, J.C. James Ras nominated
for the office of City Treasurer and elected by the following vote:

Upon the recommendation of the Co- m—issioner of Public'Health and Safety the
applications of Johr_ L. Rogers; W.J. i;emo and Pearl Erving for license for Taxicab,
Lunch Counterand Lodging ?House. respectively, were granted on motion.. -.
On report of Commissioner Gowman it was moved by H.B. Kirtland and seconded by
James Piper that the application. of Virginia _Murphy for license for Lodging House be
rejected. The motion carried*-

On motion of H.A. Gowman seconded by John Chapek the meeting adjourned.
