Present . James Piper, John Chanek, L.F.Sinsheimer
Absent H.B.?i.rtland, H.A.Gowman.
The minutes of July lath & 26th, were read and.aruroved as read on xotion
of Janes Piper, seconded by John Charek.
On motion of John Chape' seconded by Janes Finer the followinb arplications
for permit to build sere ordered granted :
a. P.Roleta- block 56 - 2 frame residences cost x 2500.00 each
San Luis Ice & Cold Storage Co. Lot 1- Bloc'. 113 Reed's Add. Cold Storage
warehouse, Cost 1500.00
It •taas tr:oved by James Piper seconded by John Charek & carried that the Bond
of J.C.James as City Treasurer be accented.
On motion of John Charek seconded by James Piper, Frank TV 7. "cello was granted
pear: .-it to lay 50ft. of cement curbing on the _forth side of ?:Tarbh Street bet-een Ninomo
& Carmel Sts. Block 62
It was moved by John Chapek seconded by Japes Piper 6: carried that the Santa
Maaia Gas Company be permitted to.cren trench on Hiruera Street bet:^reen Wipomo & Broad
Streets for the purpose of in-akin-ID, mas connection to Ben :,uaddalena Building.
Geo.W.Eilbarn was granted permit for two seller connections on Broad Street -.
between Buchon and Islay Streets on motion of John Chapek seconded by James Pi-rer.
The sport of City Collector for month of July was received and ordered
filed on motion of James Piper seconded by John Chapek.
The matter of the transfer of lodging house license of Pearl Ewing to 11rs
13innie Ernst was referred to Com. Goaman on motion of John Charek seconded by James
Piper.
The following licenses viere reported by the City Collector for
cancellation, which v.-ere referred to Coin. of Fin.& Rev. for investigation, on motion
of John Chapek seconded by James Pi_oer .
