On motion of James Piper seconded by Geo. W. Kilbern , G.W. Reynolds was granted
license for soft drinks.
i The report of the Mayor relative to the closing of Toro Street was received and on
motion of.James Piper.seconded by Geo. W. Kilbern, ordered filed.
Claims against the City for the month of June were ordered paid on motion of

James Piper seconded by Geo.. W. Kilbern.
In re claim of R.A. Rhodes for $ 51.90 , the Mayor appointed James Piper and
Geo. W. Kilbern a committee to investigate said claim.
The claim of Katherine Murphy in the amount of $ 34.75 for refund of erroneous
assessment on ?.harsh Street Storm Seger was ordered paid on motion of James Piper seconded
by Geo. W. Kilbern. The City Attorney was instructed to collect the said sum from the
Municipal Securities Company.
In Re Water for Irrigation Purposes ,
It was ordered on motion of James Piper
seconded by Geo. W. Kilbern and carried that until further notice the use of water for
•
irrigation from the City Water Systemiis limited as follows : In that part of the
City northerly of the center line of Monterey Street, of the center line of Dana Street
and of the center line of Stenner Creek westerly of its junction with Dana Street , and of
the center line of San Luis Obispo Creek westerly of its junction with Stenner Creek ,
water may be used for irrigation only between the :hours of 7 o'clock P.M. and 9:30 o'clock
P.M.on Tuesdav and Friday of each week; in that part of said City southerly of said line ,

only between the said hours on Wednesday and Saturday of each week.
On motion of James Piper seconded by Geo.' W. Kilbern the.meating adjourned to
Monday July 11th at 7:30 P.M.

partially deetroyed by fire in Block 92 was granted on motio n of James Piper seconded by
Geo. W. Kilbern.
The application of A.R. Smith for license for Garage at 1255 11-tonterey Street
was referred to Commissioner of Public Health and Safety for report.
