Upon roll call the result was as follows:
W.B. Martin......... W.B. Roselip
H.A. Gowman W.B. Roselip
Geo. W. Kilbern ..... W.B. Roselip
James Piper ........ Kenneth Beck
L.E. Sinsheimer ... Kenneth Beck
E.B. Roselip having reveived a majority of the votes was declared elected
City Engineer. On motion duly seconded and carried the above appointments become
effective August lat. with the exception of that of Mrs. Anna P.R. Lilley, which becomes
effective Sept. lat.
On motion of F.B. Martin seconded by Geo. W. Kilbern the appointment of Library
Trustees was laid over for the present.
On motion of H.A. Gowman seconded by James Piper the meeting adjourned to Monday
July 25th at 7 :30 P -Me
Ayes : T.B. Martin, H.A. Gowman , Geo. W. Kilbern, Jatpes -Piper , L.F. Sinsheimer.

City Council met in adjourned sesaion -- Mayor L.F. - insheimer presiding.
Present : H.A. Gowman, Geo. W. Kilbern, James Piper , L.F. Sinsheimer.
Absent : W.B. Martin.
Le-ter of A.I. Shurragar requesting special privileges for use of water for
irrigation purposes ordered placed on .file, on motion of James Piper seconded by H.A. Gowman.
The following applications for .permit to build were granted on motion of
James Piper seconded by Geo. W. Kilbern:
Edith M. Aumaier -- Sleeping Porch Block 30 Cost $ 100.00
R.P. Gerdes -- Residence Block 25 " 1000.00

On motion of James Piper seconded by Geo. W. Kilbern , Abe Bloomberg was granted
permi::::ion to move a residence in Block 24-- said residence to face Santa Rosa Strut.

August 3- 4-5and 6 - referred to the Commissioner of Public Health and Safety for report
at the next meeting , on motion of James Piper seconded by Geo. W. Kilbern.
