The application of M.E. Bundy for Sewer connection -on Monterey Street between
Johnson.Avenue and Essex Street granted on motion of W.B. Martin seconded by James Piper.
The following licenses were ordered cancelled on motion of H.A. Gowman
seconded by W.B. Martin :

The claim of R.A. Rhodes in the amount of $ 51.90 was ordered paid on motion
of H.A. Gowman seconded by James Piper.
On motion of H.A. Gowman seconded by James Piper the meeting adjourned to
Monday, September 26th. at 7:30 P.m.

On motion of Geo. W. Kilbern seconded by W.B. Martin ,
W.J. Smith was granted
permit to grade alley in Block 29 - to the official grade - the work to be done under the
supervision of the Superintendent of Streets.

the Commissioner of Public

was .granted on motion of
James Piper seconded by Geo. W. Kilbern, with the provision that the contractor has a license.
On motion of James Piper seconded by Geo::. W. Kilbern ,
Skiles and Mathews were granted
permit to connect with the
City Sewer on Pacific Street between
Higuera and Archer Street.

The application of C.H. Buck & Son for license.for Cigar Store referred to the
Commissioner of Public Health and Safety on motion of James Piper seconded by Goo. W. Kilbern.
The applications for the regular quarterly licenses were granted on motion of
Goo. W. Kilbern seconded by Jemes Piper.
The application.of France & Horn for locense for Laundry on Brizzolara Street
4 )was granted on motion of Goo. W. Kilbern seconded by James Piper.
The application of Frank Covell for license for Taxicab , granted on motion of
Goo. W. Kilbern seconded by W.B. Martine
Application of C.E. Wilmot and Emmet Naylor for license for Taxicab granted on
motion of James Piper seconded by Goo. W. Kilbern.
The application of the Midland Counties Public Service Corporation for permit to
set a 30 foot pole and install an anchor on Lawton Avenue between South Street and Funston
Avenue was laid over for report by the Commissioner of Public Works.
On motion of Goo. W. Kilbern seconded by W.B. Martin the City Clerk was directed
to advertioe.,for Bids for 7600 feet ( More or Less ) of 6 inch pipe . Bids to be opened
October 10th. at 7:30 P.M. The motion carried.
Ordinance No. 94 ( New Series) An Ordinance amending Ordinance No. 76 (New Series )
514zZ-4z�by adding thereto Section 24-J , so as to require Architects to pay a license fee, was
introduced, adopted and passed to print on motion of Goo. W. Kilbern seconded by W.B. Martins
by the following vote ;
Ayes : W.B. Martin , Geo. W. Kilbern, James Piper , L.F. Sinsheimer.
Noes : None.
