The Santa Maria Gas Company were permitted , on motion of Geo. W. Kilbern
seconded by W.B. Martin, to open trenches on Monterey Street between Johnson and Essex
Street and on Higuera Street between Johnson and Essex Street.
The applications of John 0. Mc Manus for license for Pool Table, Cigars
Sideline and Soft Drinks at 16171 Osos Street were referred to the Commissioner of Public
Health and Safety for report on motion of W.B. Martin seconded by Geo. W. Kilbern, as was
also the petition of E.R. Kaiser and M.J. Brasaill for transfer of the licenses of A.E. Broc
The report of the City Collector for the month of November was received and
ordered filed on motion of James Piper seconded by Geo. W. Kilbern.
-A Check in the amount of $ 156.41 was received from the Producers Transpor-
tation Company , being payment on pipeline franchise. It was moved by James Piper and
seconded by Goe, W. Kilbern that the same be received on account.
In Re Purchase of Pump: It, was moved by Geo. W .Kilbern ,.seconded
by W.B. Martin and carried that the City Clerk advertise for bids for a 450 to 500 gallon
� Pump.- Specifications to be made out by the City Engineer and inserted in advertisement.
