The City Attorney was directed to advise the Coulicil the course of procedure
to compel certain witnesses to come before the Council.
On motion of C.I;T.Carpenter seconded by 17.B.Ivtartin the meeting adjourned to
Tuesday, Iiarch 4th at 3 o'clock P.M.

City Council met in adjourned special session pursuant to special call of
Friday, February 29th : 2 o'clock P.I.T., for the purpose therein set forth.
Mayor L.F.Sinsheimer presiding.
Present : W.B.I:artin, C.H.Carpenter , Geo.!'l.Lilbern, Chas. Forbes, L.F.Sinsheimer.
Absent : ITone,

The City Attorney advised as to mode of procedure to compel certain witnesses
to appear before the Council.
It was moved by C.11T.Carpenter and seconded by W.3.11artin that Iars.F.H.O'Conuo
and Cecil Finch be deemed in contempt for failure to answer subpoenas served upon them and,
that the ITayor of the City of San Luis Obispo, be authorized and instructed to file in the
Superior Court of the County of San Luis Obispo a verified certificate of facts, setting
forth, in full, the circumstances surrounding the refusal of Cecil Finch and lIrs.E H.O'Cor or.
to appear and testify before the City Council in obedience to the subpoenas served upon the

VI.F.Cook was again called as a witness and questioned.
