Iii response to advertisement for bids for the legal advertising of the City
Of San iuis Obispo for the fiscal year 1924 -1925 the following is a list of all
bids received:
Daily Telegram Co 90/ per square first insertion ; 30� per square each subsequent insert

Tribune Printing Co: per nonpareil square of 234 ems , first insertion 45 subsequent

The applications for the regular •quarterly licenses v,,ere grunted on motion of

only between the hours of 4 o'clock and 5 o'clock r.L., in accordance i.-!ith the above
schedule. The motion was ullamiously carried.
In re irrigation patrol : It was moved by C.13. Carpenter and seconded by
Geo.,.i.I•albern that the Commissioner of Public Works be empowered to employ two men as
" i.ater Inspectors " to patrol use of water for irrigation duri_zg such period as restricti
are in force and effect. It being the sense of the Council that the services of such
employees terminate at such time as water restrictions are removed. The motion carried.
