City Council met in adjourned session - Commissioner W.B.Ilartin presiding.
Present : W.B.Martin•, C.I3.Carpenter , Geo•,VII.I:ilbern, Chas Forbes.
Absent : L.F.Sinsheimer.
The matter before the meeting was the consideration of Bids submitted on
November 10th for 2,000 ft of 4^ Cast Iron Water Pipe, Discussion. It was moved
by C.M.Carpenter and seconded by Geo.t'I.k'ilbern that the bid of Stephen Smith & Co . be
accepted, at the price of $ 0.74 per ft. The motion carried.
On motion of Gco.',P.kilbern seconded by Chas Forbes the certified checks of
the unsuccessful,bidders were•ordered returned.
On motion of Chas Forbes seconded by C.M. Carpenter the meeting adjourned.

The minutes of November 3rd.,.10th.and 12th. were read °and approved as re
on motion of Chas Forbes seconded by C.E.Carpenter.
The application of G.17.Skiles for ps--r-mit to remodel a garage on part of
lot three Block 53 was granted on motion_ of•Geo.',i'.I_ilbern seconded by•O.h.'.Carpe} ter.
On motion of Geo.111.4'ilbern seconded by Chas Forbes the following applicat-
ions for permit to lay sidewalk and curhing were granted:
ndelia Id. Gregg - 60 ft full width sidewalk and curbing on the north side of Higuera Stree
between Broad and Chorro Street.
P.H.Christensen - 57 ft full width sidewalk on the west side Chorro Street between
Palm and 1-ill Street.
The application of Gottlieb Studle for permit to operate a peanut and
popcorn wflgon was received. The same was ordered placed on file for future conside
ion on motion of.C.I,:I.Carpenter seconded by Chas Forbes.
Petition received from property owners requesting that a Street Light be
installed at the corner of Peach and Essex Street. On motion of Geo.:P.F-ilbern seconded
by C.I+3.Carpenter the same was ordered filed with petitions of a similar nature.
The report of the City Clerk for the month of October was received and
ordered filed on motion of Chas Forbes seconded by Geo.,'I.Lilbern.
The matter of the Building application of Ieiartha Day for permit for ce
work on building in Block 13 was continued one week,
application of J.1.1.Benson for license for skating rink at the ',Pinter Garde
was granted upon favorable report and motion_ of C.I, ?.Carpenter seconded by Chas Forbes.
Upon favorable report and motion of C.I% Carpenter seconded by Geo,V!.Yilbe
the application of Herrera Bros. for license for Boxing exhibition at the Winter Garden,
