Applications of Joe Kenner and Gottlieb Studle for permit to operate vendors
Wagons at the premises of Eathews and Carpenter on the east side of Morro Street between
Higuera and Harsh Streets were before the Council. The Commissioner of Public Health
and Safety reported favorably and upon his motion seconded by Chas Forbes the applications
were granted.
The petition of ICI. Tonini for transfer of licenses for the Chocolate lien to
Lottie Mendel, granted on motion of C.I,I.Carpenter seconded by VI.B.I:Iartin.
- The application of C.r,.Freeman for permit to hang an overhead sign at the
h:arinello Beauty Shop , at John Norton Pharmacy, was granted on motion of C.1-J.Carpenter
seconded by Chas Forbes.
On motion of W.B.Martin seconded by Chas Forbes the Merchandising Bond of
A.F.Maha ( Surety Burriss & Stephenson) , was approved.
Matter of the exemption of VI.B.h:Ioses from payment of City license deferred.
The applications of J.H.Logan and Wm.H.Broadhurst for permit to remove buildings
were granted on motion of Geo.W.Kilbern seconded by ll.B.LIartin.
Iri re purchase of Automobile for use in the Police Department: Discussion.
Cn motion of iV.B.I.,Iartin seconded by GeO.W.Kilhern the Commissioner of Supplies was authoriz d
to purchase a certain used Ford Touring Car and certain equipment for same, at a cost not
to exceed $ 250.00..
On motion of 111.B. Martin seconded by C.I,I.Carpenter the meeting adjourned to
r:Ionday , January 26th., at 7:30 P.M.

Application of Y.A.Fitzgerald for permit to replace 55 ft of full width
sidewalk aril: curbing on the South side of Pismo Street between Santa Rosa and Toro Street
was granted on motion of Geo.W.✓'ilbern seconded by Chas Forbes.

On motion of C.I:LCarpenter seconded by Geo.11.Kilbern the petition of
Hills Bazaar ( T1?yrtle G. Bahlman ) for transfer of license to I.G.and V.G.Satrang was granted.
