The City Attorney presented an Ordinance on Breeding of Animals in the City
and on Building and Housing, also certain amendments_to the license Ordinance were discu
All were laid over to the next meeting.
On motion of W.BoYartin seconded by Geo. We Kilbern claims against the City
for the month of June•were ordered paid subject to the approval of the heads of the
respective departments*
In re Ford Car;: It was moved by Geo. We Kilbern and seconded by
C.Y,Uarpenter that anew Ford Touring Car -be. bought for 0 496.72 , to be paid for on the
installment plan - 150.00 down and the balance in•12 equal monthly payments.
C.M.Car-penter , seconded by Geo. We Kilbern offered an amendment ., that the amount be
paid from the General Find . All voted aye on the amendment. The original motion
as amended was thenput and the same was carried by the following vote:
Ayes - lV.B..Idartin , C.Id.Carpenter , Geo. We Kilbern, Chas. Forbes.
Noes - L.F.Sinsheimere -
In re sanitary conditions at Auto Camp Grounds : Commissioner Carpenter
recommended that the Commissioner of Public Works make further investigation and report
to the Council.

at a cost of $ 200.00,were granted on motion of W;B. I:Iartin seconded by Geo. We Kilbern.
'Application,-.Of Fred Ybarra for permit to move a small building from Block 32
( Court School premises..) to lot 3 Block 73 was granted on motion of WoB.IYIartin seconded by
Geo. W, Kilbern.
The application of C.L,Wilder for permit to lay 50 ft. of 5 fto park side-
walk and curbing on the North side of Sycamore Street between Santa Rosa Street and
Hathaway Avenue was granted on motion of Geo. Id, Kilbern seconded by Chas. Forbes.
Applications of the Santa Haria Gas Company for permit to open trenches on
Sandercock Street between Cypress and Price Street and on Morro Street between Higuera
-and Monterey Street were granted on motion of Geo. We Kilbern seconded by Chas. Forbes.

application of Hary Berry for license for lodging house at 737 Monterey, Street , and -it

It. was moved by Chase Forbes and seconded by Geo. P!. Kilbern that the petiti
of John Pfleghaar for permit to erect a corrugated iron building in Block 23 be returned tole.
the petitioner with the information that acme is in conflict with .Ordinance governing the
construction of buildings in the " Fire Limits " therefore could not be granted.
The motion carried.
H.1-T.Hunt , representative of the Granite Construction Co., appeared before
the Council and extended an invitation to the safd Body to be his guests on a Tour of
isspection of Street work in the Cities of Viatsonvi.;le, Salinas and Santa Cruz. It was
moved by C.Pd.Carpenter and seconded by WeB,Martin that Mr. Hunt be thanked for his invitation,
and that matter of arranging tour of inspection be left to a future date. Lotion carried.
On motion of Geo. We Kilbern seconded by Chas. Forbes the application of
C.M.Long for permit to connect with the City Sewer on Palm Street between Grand Ave. and
Park Street was granted.
In re delinquent Street assessments: It was moved by C,M,Carpenter and
seconded by WeB,K1artin2 that list be handed to the City Attorney for report to the Council
as to the legal status and proper procedure for collection of same.
Ordinance No. 93 ( New Series ) An Ordinance Prohibiting the Breeding of
Certain Animals within a portion of the City of San Luis Obispo was introduced, adopted
and passed to print on motion of .°I.B.I:Iartin seconded by Chas. Forbes by the following vote
