The application of the Better Plumbing Co for permit to hang a sheet Metal sign
at 1126 Chorro Street was granted.on motion of C.M.Car penter seconded by H.E.Cox with the
provision that the said sign be removed at the pleasure of the Council.

Morro Street tb I.Irs Lucy Rockwell was granted on motion of C.M.Carpenter seconded by H.E.Cox.
The application of Foster Kleiser Company for permit to place sign board on
Marre premises on Chorro Street hetween Monterey and Higuera Street was continued for
further report, on motion of C.M.Carpenter seconded by H.E.Cox.
Matter relative to the petition of Henry Bode at al, protesting against a
cartain building of Chas St Clair on Higuera Street was continued.
In re petition of the Santa Maria Gas Company for permit to cut pavement on
Nipomo Street for purpose of installing Gas service for the Universal By- Products Co:
Commissioner of Public Wotks H.E..Cox reported favorable and on motion of C.M.Carpenter
seconded by H.E.Cox the petition was granted with the provision that the work be done
under the supervision of the City EEngineer.
In re payment to W.J.Tobin for Sewer contract , Division "M ": It was moved
by C.M.Carpenter and seconded by John Chapek and carried that a warrant in the amount of
3,664.85 be drawn in favor of I7.J.Tobin, contractor for Division "ICI" Sewer, This
payment leaving a balance due, in accordance with City Engineers estimate No 4 of $ 1,000 00.

On motion of C.M.Carpenter seconded by H.E.Eox it was ordered that C.L.Dennis,
Puund Master, be allowed $ 25.00 per month.-for maintenance of his car while the same is
needed in the pound service. This to become effective April 1st.
On motion of C.L�I.Carpenter seconded by H.E.Cox the meeting adjourned to
Monday, March 29th at 7:30 P.I;I.
