On motion of John Ch-apek seconded by H.E.Cox the City Clerk was authorized
and directed to return to the unsuccessful bidders, certified checks and bonds which
accompanied bids for the paving of Buchon Street.
All matters which riere leftover at the previous meeting %sere again continued

The City Clerk notified the Council that this ti —,s the time and place fixed for
the hearing of protests in the matter of the Improvement of a portion of Bill Street,
Santa Rona Street, Peach Street and Toro Street as set forth in resolution of Intention
No. 199 ( I'•Ieva Series ) and also reported that no written protests had been received prior
to the time set for the hearing The Chair called for verbal protests... No response.
Resolution No. 201 ( Iiew Series ) Ordering certain work on certain pDrtions
of I:Iill Street, Santa :Rosa Street, Peach Street and Toro Street, as described in resolution
of Intention No. 199 ( I'Tew Series) was read by the City attorney,. and on motion of
