City Hall, hlonday, December 20th .1926 - 7 :30 r.il.
City Council met in ..regular session - Vice President of the Council
Chas Forbes presiding.
Present : C.Ik!.Carpenter, John Chapet, H.E.Cox, Chas. Forbes.
Absent ; irlayor L.F.Sinsheimer.
The minutes of December 6th and 13th were read and au- croved as read on .motion
of H.E.Cox seconded by John Chapek.
The following applications for permit to build were granted on motion of
H.E.Cox seconded by John Chapek:
W.C.I:Iartin - Garage pt lot 1 Block 52 Cost 0 75.00
Thos P. Izard - Addn to Residence Lots 29 & 30 Block 25 Coat 850.00
Petition of Elks Hall association for permit to cut sidewalk on 1.1arsh Street
between I,Iorro and Osos Street for purpose of installing water drain was granted on motion
of C.-:.Carpenter seconded by John Chapek.
The report of the City Clerk for the month of November eras received and ordere
filed on motion of C.I: ?.Carpenter seconded by H.E.Cox.
The applications for the regular quarterly licenses were received and refe
to the Commissioner of Public Health and Safety for investigation and report on motion of
r. -.Cox seconded by John Chapek.
On motion duly seconded and carried the communication of Mrs Z. Welsher et.al.
protesting against the branding and dehorning of cattle at Sandercock's Corral was ordered
filed and the matter referred to the Co:iulissioner of ""Public Health and Safety for report.
Application of H.H.Page for permit to construct a Store Building and a = esidenc
on�a Dart of Lot 4 Block 52 was gra ted on motion of H.E.Cox seconded by C.L-T.Carpenter.
The applications of roster & Lleiser Company for permit to erect sign boards,
the petition of C.Iaddalena et al for a street light on pacific Street between.-;Beach and
Carmel Street and the petition of the !A:festern Auto Supply Co for permit to place a sign,
were laid over.
City Engineer reported favorably on the application of ',Y.O.Cosby for permit to
install driveways at service station corner !,Marsh and Idipomo Streets and on motion of
C. ,:.Carpenter seconded by H.E.Cox the same was granted.
resolution No. 208 ( New Series ) A esolution ditecting the City Engineer to
furnish plans and specifications for the improvement of certain portions of Palm, Monterey,
Idipomo, Broad, north Broad, Chorro, I:- Iorro, Osos, and Johnson Streets in the City of
Sail Luis Obispo, was introduced and adopted on motion of C.I:i.Carpenter seconded byH..Cox
by the following vote:

Resolution Do. 209 ( Idew Series) A Resolution adopting plans and specifications
or the improvement of certain portions of Palm, Lionterey, Dana, Idipomo, Broad, North Broad,
horro,s•Iorro,Osos and Johnson Streets in the City of San Luis Obispo was introduced and
dopted on motion of C.I;I.Carpenter seconded by H.E.Cox by the following vote:
yes : C.1.17. Carpenter, John Chapek, H.E.Cox, Chas Forbes.
oes : None.
sent : L.F. Sinsheimer.
On motion of C.L,.I.Carpenter secondedl by H.E.Cox the matter of the acquisition of
certain property on lower Higuera.Street was referred to the Commissioner of Finance and
the City =ttorney for report at the next meeting.
