The following petitions for permit to hang signs were left over for report by
the Commissioner of Public Health and Safety:
3.Takayama,.198 Higuera §treet ; Mrs. T.Urushima, 156 Higuera Street and Y. Watanabe 198 Higue
Street..
The matter of the application of Mary Agnes O'Reilly for permit to build a ServicE
Station ,etc., oil Lot A Phillips Addition, at the junction of Monterey Street and Idutray Ave.,
was taken up. City Attorney made report relative to a 70 ft strip of land involved.
Matter discussed and deferred to the next meeting. Petitioner directed to make out new
application . Said application-to conform to plats in the office of the City Clerk.
In re application of Louisa and Evelyn Hansen for permit to build a Garage on
property line on a part of lot 12 Block 4, Discussion. It was moved by H.E.Cox and
seconded by John Chapek that the application be granted with the provision that the material
used in the structure , and the design be similar to the residence. That the same be
erected under the supervision of the Commissioner of Supplies.
On motion of Chas Forbes seconded by H.E.Cox the application of Emma Pacheco for
license for Restaurant at 1023 Court Street was granted.
The petition of Geo and Chris Anholm for permit to construct a Sewer along Chorrol
Street in Anholm Addition to Mt. Pleasanton-Square Addition was again taken up. City Attorne
presented and read an agreement between the City of San Luis Obispo and Anholm Bros for such
Sewer, batter discussed. It was moved by Chas Forbes and seconded by H..Cox that
the agreement between the City of San Luis Obispo and Anholm Bros be, and the same is hereby
ratified. The motion carried*
The application of the Veterans' Welfare Board.of the State of California, for
the cancellation of certain assessments upon real property: i.e.- Lots 19 & 20 in Block 3
Central Addition and a part of lot " F " in Block 138 Phillips Addition, for the year 1927 -28
was again taken up. On favorable report and motion of Chas Forbes seconded by H.E.Cox the
petition was granted; and the City Clerk was directed to make the proper entries on record.
On motion of Chas Forbes seconded by John Chapek the meeting adjourned to Monday,
Iularch 26th at 7 :30 P.M.
