City/ Council met in regular session - 'Nice lr.esident.of the Council Chas rorbes
presiding.
Present : Chas i-.orbes, L.J. efosset, 7. .Coy;, John Chapek.
Absent : Ea,,-,o• L.F.Sinsheimer.
The minutes of January 6th.,13tr.,20th. and 27th, were read and approved as read on
motion of L.J.Defosset seconded by 'r'_.E.Cox:
The application of Edward T. .Harkins for permit to remodel a building, onaa;.part of
lot 3 Block 19 Central Addition, into a garage mouse, was granted on motion of H.,.Cox seconded,
by 1..J.Defosset.
The anplication of Ed,:aard T. Harkins for permit.to move a house from Lot B Block 16,
Central :addition to parts of lots 2 and 3 Block 19 Central =ddition was granted on motion of
H.F.Cox seconded by John Chapek.
On motion of H.E.Cor seconded by l.J.i',efos.-et the following applications for permit
to lay sidewalk and curbing r ;ere granted:

The petition of S. "TL.Ahderson for permit to install a gasoline pu:ap and underground

storage tank of 500 gallon capacity was received and -referred to the Co_rLissioner of Public
Health_ and Safet77 for report to the Council, on otion of ,;.E.Cox seconded by John Chapek.
Cn otion of 'E.E.Cox seconded bT7 John Chapek. the petition of D. Chlentzos for
transfer of license for :restaurant at 1022 :Lorro Street to George 3. Collins, was refrrred to
the Co.l.,iissioner of =ublic Health and Safety for report to the council.
The report of the City Collector and Police Judge for the month of January 1930,
were received and ordered filed on motion of John Chapek seconded by E.E.Cox.
Cl2ims against the City for the Month of January were ordered paid, on motion of
L.J.Defosset seconded by H.E.Co7l, subject to the anproval of the heads of the respective
Dei)artments.
The petition of Sail Luis Melding !,`forks, ';lard i :anger, for permit to place a sign
6 x 10 " atop building at 1359 .- onterey Street was granted, on favorable report and motion of
L.J.Defosset seconded by John Chapek.
The matter of the petition of property owners for the improvement of Fig Street
lrras again laid over.
