City Ball, Thursday, Lay 1st 1930 - 7:30 P.I+i:
City Council met in adjourned session - I:iayor L.F.Sinsheimer presiding.
Present : Chas -'o bes, L.J.'Defostet, H.E.Cox, John Chapek, L.F.Sinsheimer.
Absent : None.
The first matter taken up by the Council was the consideration of Bids submitted
on April 21st 1930, for the improvement of Santa Posa and other streets under Resolution of
Intention I:o. 311 ( New Series ). I:iatte;r discussed., and,
esolution No. 314 ( 1dew Series ) , of the Council of the City of San Luis: Obispo,
awarding the contract for the work described in -esolution of Intention 11o. 313: ( IVew Series ),
of said pity Council, to I.L.Ryder, at the prices named in his Bid, was introduced and adopted
on motion of H.E.Cox seconded by L.J.Defosset, by the following vote:
Ayes : Chas Forbes, L.J.Defosset, H.E.Cox, John Chapek, L.F.Sinsheimer.
Noes None.
Absent : Toone.
In re appointment of Police Judge Discussion It wss moved by L.J.Defosse
and seconded by .;.Cox that B.J.Dill.on be appointed Police Judge, to serve at the pleasure
of the Council, not to exceed a period of 60 days. Roll Call:

B.J.Dillon was declared appointed Police Judge.
On motion of Chas Forbes seconded by H.E.Cox the meeting adjourned.
