Absent : dayor L.F.Sinsheimer. The minutes of June 2d and 9th teere read and approved as read on motion of H.F.Co seconded by I,.J.Defosset. The following applications for permit to build were granted on motion of H.E.Cox seconded by John Chapek : J.T.Harrell - :residence w Garage. lot 1 Block 11 Buena Vista :,ddn Cost ti 2,500.00 Geo.D. sadison - Residence Garage lots 13 c: 14 Block 17 ,Whol;a zddn Cost 4,000.00 The acplication of E-scalante Bros for license for Show ( Trapeze 8: Acrobatic was referred , on motion of H.E.Cox seconded by John Chapek, to the Coiraaissioner of Public Health and Safety for report to the Council. Upon favorable report and motion of L.J.Defosset seconded by H.E.Cox the application of Lscalante Bros for license for Show was granted. Application of C.C.Iartin for permit to put in Stub sewer coiuiection on :U. rray Avenue between Hathti ^ray Avenue and Santa Rosa Street, was granted on motion of H.E.Cox seconded by John Chapek. Application of E. ?:'.Payne for per:!it to cut pavement on Buchon Street between Osos Stre, and lJorro Street for purpose of installing larger water service for 'i�.r . Avila residence, was gra_.ted on lotion of H.3.Coz seconded by John Chapek, with the provision that the work be done under the smpervision of the City Engineer. On Motion of H.R.Cox seconded by John Chapek the petition of ::athews and Carpenter for per it to hang two vertical wooden si ns at 839 Htguera Street was referred to the CO;nraission ^t of Public Health and Safety for report to the Council, as was also, the petition of C.H.- -a.ia Co., for periit to install three^ gasoline storage tan :_s on a part of lot 6 'lock 24. etitio -1 of ._-Ma ':_artin relative to the re:aoval of a Guy 1 ire in front of residence at 1319 Garden Street ;.,gas referred to the Coa:aissioner of Public i`iorks for disposal, on motion of L.J.Defosset seconded by John Chapek. Applications for the regular quarterly licenses were presented and referred to the Coai :iissioner of Public Health and Safety for report to the Council on motion of H.H.Cox sec ,by John Chapek. This being the time and place fixed by the-Council for Hearing of protests in ti-e Natter of the I:aprovement of Garden Street, Resolution of Intention No. 322 ( Now Series ) , the matter was now taken up. I,o written nor verbal protests were received. Affidavit of posting notices for the aforesaid improvement was presented and ordered filed. Resolution -.i.e. 325 ( I.e�: Series ), A Pesolution ordering certain work on certain portions of Garden, Pacific and gismo Streets, as described in esolution of Intention ITo. 322 j New Series ) of the Council of the City of San Luis Obispo, wras introduced and adopted on motion of L.J.Defosset seconded by H.E.Cox by the following vote: 'Yes : Chas Forbes, L.J.Defosset, H.E.Cox, John_ Chapek. Idoes None . Absent : ?.F.Sinsheimer.
