The following applications for permit to build were granted on motion of H.R..Cox seconded by John Chapek: IC.H.Yamm Co - Store Building Mock 24 Cost $ 89700.00 Standard Oil Co- Super Service Station 3lock 152 Harford Addn Cost 750.00 Application of I.J.Lewelling for permit to lay 50 ft of 5 ft park sidewalk, curbing and gutter on the south side of I:iontalban Street between. Santa :osa Street and Toro (Street was received. Said application V.*2s laid over pending establishment of Grades. IOn motion. of r_.E.Co__ seconded by L .J.Defosset the City Engineer was instructed to submit grades for :.:ontalban S .rest to the Council. It was moved by H.E.Cox and seconded by John Chapek that the Contract for the construction of Ida Strect Bridge be awarded to Irving L. Ryder at the price named in hid Bid, 11,495.00. The :notion carried. On motion of sccor_ded by John Chapek it was ordered that certified checks or bonds which accompanied the Bids of .-.:unsuccessful bidders be returned.
