City Council met in regular session - Vice President of the Council Chas Forbes Present : Chas Forbes, L.J.Defosset, H.E.Cox, John Chapek. Absent : I'Mayor L.F.Sinsheimer. The reports of the City Collector and,Pound Master for the month of ITovember 1930 re received and ordered filed on motion of L.J.Defosset seconded by H.F.Cox. On motion of H.3.COx seconded by John Chapek the application.of the ?Mission ;arket Por permit to hang a Neon Electric Sign was referred to the Commissioner of Public Health and Safety for investigation and report to the Council. The following applications for permit to build were granted on motion of H.L.Cox seconded by John Chapek: Ralph Law - Residence & Garage lot 26 Block 1 Monterey Heights Cost 4,800.00 Harry A. Payton -,Store Room part lot 2 Block 98 I,I.V. Tract Cost 250.00 I.J.Charters - zesidence & Garage lot 42 '.it Pleasanton Square Cost 4,000.00 ud.J.Charters . Residence & Garage lot 52 'at. Pleasanton Square Cost 49500.00 a.B.Curtis . Residence & Garage part lot 10 Block 4 Anholm Addn Cost 30500.00 ripplications for the regular quarterly licenses were received and referred to the ommissioner of Public Health and Safety for investigation and report to the Council upon motic H.R.Cox seconded by John Chapek. On motion of John Chapek seconded by L.J.Defosset a co;smunication from H.J.Hannak s received and placed on file. The petition of Jack L.Anderson for permit to hang a wooden horizontal sign at 402 guers Street ( Baldwin Service Station ) was granted on motion of L.J.Defosset seconded by ohn Chapek. The application of the Pacific Telephone and Telegraph Company for permit to set a ole at the corner of Osos and Buchon Streets was denied on motion of H.E.Cox seconded by L.J.Defosset. The matter of the renewal of Insurance or� property owned by the City of San Luis Obispc was referred to the Commissioner of Finance and Re{ {venue with power to act, on motion of H..Cox seconded by John Chapek. The matter of the protest of Ralph C. Kennedy relative to new Street vrade on Islay Street between 3each Street and Carmel Street ; Resolution of Intention IJo. 334 ( New Series ) was continued to i;ionday, December 29th 1930, at 7 :30 P.14i., on motion of H *E.Cox seconded by L.J.Defosset. 1 1 11
