Application of the :Iidland Counties Public Service Corporation No. 194 for permit to
do certain work upon Center Street between Chorro Street and Broad.Street, Anholm Addition,
was again before the Council. Map showing proposed work was filed and the matter was laid
over to the next meeting of the Council.
Application of Urs. W. H. Mills for permit to lay 70 feet of curbing on the south side
of High Street between Cypress Street and Beebee Street was again continued, pending the
establishment of grades.
The matter of the application of Theodore M. Maino for permit to install gasoline
storage tanks at new Super- Service Station, corner of Higuera Street and Osos Street,.Block 22 .
was again continued for one week.
The matter of the final passage of License Ordinance No, 153 (New Series), was
continued to the next meeting of the Council.
The matter of the petition of He J. Dubin for re- subdivision of part of Block 149,
Harford Addition, was again brought up. Mr. Dubin presented tentative map. After discussion,
it was ordered that the tentative map be left with the City Clerk for perusal by the Council.
On motion of H. E. Cox seconded by J. Be Berkemeyer the meeting adjourned to Monday,
June 8th, 1931 at 7:30,P. M,

550 gallons capacity, and, an additional gasoline pump at Service Station, corner High Street
and Walker Street, was referred to the Commissioner of Public Health and Safety for investiga-
tion and report to the Council.

line in front of lots 23 and 24, Block 29, was granted on motion of H. Be Cox seconded by
L. J. Defosset.

The report of the City Collector for the month of May 1931, and the report of the
City Treasurer for the month of April 1931, were received and ordered filed.
