The petition of J.H.Lefosset for extension of Water line along Osos Road was carried
er to the next meeting.
Communication of Geo. J. O'Hara in re pension Bill taken up. City Attorney
instructed to draw ?Resolution for the next meeting of the Council.
The matter of non - payment of license fees by Taxicab operators, referred to the
Chief of Police for collection.

On motion of n...".Cox seconded by J.B.Berkemeyer the following applications for
licenses were referred to the Commissioner of Public Health and Safety for report to the
Council :

The petition of John E. Smee for permit to break concrete approach to Taxaco Oil
Station, at Idarsh and Nipomo Stroets, for the purpose of replacing Gasoline Tanks, was grantee
on motion of L.J.Defosset seconded by H.E.Cox with the provision that work be done under the
supervision of the City Engineer.
The applications of Clines Electric Shop for permit to hang Neon Signs at Shanghai
Low restaurant at 830 Palm Street, and at i:taddalena Service Station, Higuera Street, were
referred to the Commissioner of Public Health acid Safety for report to the Council, on motion
of H.E.Cox seconded by J.B.Berkem+eyer.
applications for the regular quarterly licenses were presented and referred to the
Cox3issioner of Public Health and ::safety for investigation and repert to the Council, on motion
of John Chapek seconded by H.E.Cox.
A co: ;imunication from C.E.Andrews, Chairman, Dairy Department of San Luis vbispo
County Farm Bureau was received and ordered placed on file.
Communication received from Pacific CO -Ist Building Officials Conference, relative
to membership fee. On motion of H.E.Cox seconded by L.J.Defosset it was ordered that the
communication be placed on file : membership to the considered at some later date.
The petition of the " 20 - 30 " Club for permit to place a sign on yonterey Street
just inside the City Limits was granted, on motion of L.J.Defosset seconded by John Chapek,
with the provision that said sign be placed at some position approved by the City engineer.
Matter of the petition of J.H.Defosset in re extension of tdater line along Osos Road
and the matter of license for Taxicab operators was continued to the next meeting.
Resolution No. 372 ( New Series ) A Resolution of the City Council favoring the
)assage of a Law by the United States Congress regarding pensions for Railroad Employees was
troduced and.adopted on motion of L.J.Defosset seconded by John Chapek by the following vote
