Liatter continued to the next meeting. The matter of-Vthe Insurance Policy filed by II.B. Lewin on non -owned cars used Ion the service of the City of San Luis Obispo was brought up. Co2uaissioner of Finance John Chap reported unfavorable, and on his motion seconded by H.E.Cox, it was ordered that the Policy be returned with the advice that insurance is now carried on said cars, by the owners therbof. The matter of the petition of Geo. C. I.ic Cormick,et.al., in re abandonment of a certain portion of Syca;mote Street was laid over to the next meeting of the Council. In re petition of J.H.Defosset for extension of `:later Line alonE Osos Roadi 'n agreement was presented by the petitioner, and after discussion, on imotion of John Chapek seconded by H..E.Coa the I:Iayor and the City C -erk were authorized to e-xecute said agreement . Cecil G. Evans presented _.Iap of Tract m 119, a subdivision of the Ili, of the Ia wz` of Section 27 , and on iaotion of :H.E.Cox seconded by John Chapek the said i,:ap was referred to the City Engineer for checking and report to the Council.
