Present : J.3.3erke'-leyer, John Chapel, H- -.Cox, L.J.Def:isset, L.F.Sinshaimer. ,Absent : done. The minutes of October 17th and 24th were read and approved as read on moti -on of L.J.Defosset seconded by John Chapel. The i1erchandising Bond of Glaser Bros., Surety L.11.11. =amm, was approved and the Surety accepted, on motion of John Chap�Lkseconded by T.J.Defosset. On motion duly seconded and carried the following applications for licenses were referred to the Com'aissioner of -ublic health 5-:nd Safety for report to the Council 1.�.3oyd :;oft Drinks 977 Higuera =street Harry Byrens General ;auctioneer Local Petition of i.Irs Emma 3rown for permit to connect with Sewaer on Pacific Street between Beach Street Lnd Carmel street granted on motion of H.LE.Cox seconded by J.3.3erkemeyer. petition of _.'idland i:;ounties : :ubli(; :service Corporation y 206 for permit to do certain work on Toro %treet bettiieen I..ill Street and Peach Street in accordance with applicati on file, was referred to the Commissioner of Public 'ororks for report to the Council. On motion of L.J.I)efosset seconded by J.3.3erLemeyer the petition of E. .Burriss for permit to ramp sidewalk and curb for a distance of six feet on the south side of Llarsh Street between 3road I -trset and Garden Street was referred to the COLIAsSi0ner of Public rJori:s for investigation and report to the Council. Petition received from John !I. Sullivan et.al., in re establishment of grade on -mill Street . I.Tatter discussed, and oil motion of L.J.Defosset seconded by John Chapel the matter was referred to'the City Engineer :with instructions to advise the Coulicil as to the status of the said Street. The report of the City Treasurer for the month of `sptember,1932, and those of the City Collector and the -olice Judge for the month of October , 1932 , were received and ordered filed, on -lotion of H.E.Cox seconded by John Chapek. Cl_ims against tiie City for the month of October 1932, were ordered paid subject to the appioval of the heads of the respective departments, on motion of John Chapel seconded by H.E.Cox. A Committee from Parent Teacher association appeared and requested the Council to aid, in a financial tray, to project of the F.T.A. in serving rot lunches to children at the Shhool. Coi:unittee was requested to furnish certain data. Resolution ido. 375 ( New Series ) A Resolution of the City Council of the City of San Luis Obispo, authorizing the Board of Supervisors of the County of San Luis Obispo, to eonstruct,.•mzintt n, and repair certain. Stre::ts within said City was introduced and adopted, on motion of John Chapel seconded by J.B.3erkemegaer by the following vote : s J.B.Berkemeyer, John Chapel., H.7..Cox, L.J.Defosset, L.F.Sinsheimer. oes : None. bsent : None. IVIlson of the Bobette Pe uty Shop for permit to hang I; ?etal Sign at 762 Higuera Street, granted on -lotion of 1.J.Defosset seconded by J.B.Berkemeyer,'.With the provision that said sign be hung in accordance with the provisions Ordinance.
