There was discussion relative to.certain.proposed Charter Amendments.. The City
Attorney presented and read the Election Proclamation for the General 1:Iunicipal Election and
consolidated Charter Amendment Election to be held in the City of San Luis Obispo on the 3rd
day of April 1933,, and on motion of H.E.Cox seconded by L.J.Defosset the said Election
Proclamation was adopted by the following vote:
Ayes J.B.Berkemeyer, John Chapek, H.B.Cox., L.J.Refosset, L.F.Sinsheimer.
Noes :
Absent : None.
On motion of H.E.Cox seconded by J.B.Berkemeyer the meeting adjourned to Monday,
March 27th 1933, at 7 :30 P.M.
Ayes : J.B.Berkemeyer, John Chapek, H.E.Cox, L.J.Defosaet, L.F.Sinsheimer.
Noes : None.

City Council met in adjourned session - Vice President of'the Council John Chapek
Present : J.B.Berkemeyer, John Chapek, H.E.Cox, L.J.Defosset.
Absent : Mayor L.F.Sinsheimer.
The following applications for permit tosell beer and Dine when the sale of such
beverages is legalized were received and ordered placed on file on motion of L.J.Defosset
seconded by J,B.Berkemeyer,:

V.Savio ( Mission restaurant - 1015 Chorro Street

Anna Schlicht & Paul Jacobson - 723 Harsh Street

Petition ofT.F.Teaver et.al., requesting the Council to condemn and cause to be
removed a certain building at 1416 Palm Street was referred to the Commissioner of public
Health and Safety for investigation and report to the Council.
The report of the City Treasurer for the month of February 1933 was reodived and
ordered filed on motion of H.E.Cox seconded..by J.B.Berkemeyer.
Don Miller of Veterans of Foreign ' Iare addressed the Council in re organization of
a Community Band, Discussion It was moved by L.J.Defosset and seconded by
J.B.Berkemeyer that the Council go on record as endorsing and commending the Veterans of Foreij
'liars organization for the formation of a Community Band, and that the City Clerk so advise the
Secretary of said organization by letter.
Applications for the regular quarterly licenses were granted on motion of
L.J.Defosset seconded by H.E.Cox.
