Applications for the regular quarterly licenses were granted on motion of L.J.Defosset
seconded by n.P.Howell.
Ordinance.i +o 17fi ( New Series } An Ordinance regulating the hours when uncured,
frozen or uncooked meats may be sold, offered for sale or delivered; and prescribing a penalty
for the violation thereof, was introduced and passed to print on motion of J.B.Berkemeyer
seconded by L.J.Defosset by the following vote
Ayes : J.B.Berkemeyer, L.J.Defosset, R.P.Howell, L.F.Sinsheimer.
Noes : Joseph Leary.
Absent : None.
Applications of Joe Robasciotti for licenses for Lunch Counter and Cigars as a
Sideline at 1226 Csos Street granted on motion of L.J.Defosset seconded by J:B.Berkempyer.
The application of the said petitioner for license for Beverage " On Sale " -;was withdrawn and
3ond surrendered.
%pplication of the Valley Electric Company for permit to install 38 ft of Neon
tubing on building occupied by Greyhound Coffee Shop at 1255 Monterey Street granted, on motion
seconded and carried.
Application of Don P. Sisco for permit to operate a Skating Rink at Winter Garden
granted on motion of L.J.Defosset seconded by J.B.Berkemeyer.
The following unfinished matters were continued: Application of Fred Thornbu .
for license for.Beverage On Sale " at 1032 Chorro Street Application of H.z.clakk for
registration as Class " E " Contractor; Application of ?d.R.Tonini for use of a'certain portic
of Sycamore Street; Pacific Tel & Tel Co for pole on Story Street ; petition of T.F.1Jeaver
in re premises at 1416 Falm Street; Petition of F.A.H.Arata in re Tax Sales .
On motion of L.J.Defosset seconded by J.B.Berkemeyer the meeting adjourned.

City Council met in regular session – Vice President of the Council L.J.Defosset
Present : J.B.Berkemeyer, L.J.Defosset, R.P.Howell, Joseph Leary.
Absent : Mayor L.F.Sinsheimer.
The minutes of September 18th and 25th were read and approved as read on motion of
R.P.Howell seconded by J.B.Berkemeger.
The petition of J.H.Carter for transfer of licenses for Billiards and Pool, Cigars
Sideline.and:30ft Drinks:at 1006 Railroad ;lvenue, Terminal Cigar Store, to Jack DeLisle was
granted on motion of J.B.Berkemeyer seconded by Joseph Teary.
The report of the City Treasurer for the month of August and those of the City
Collector and Police Judge for the month of September were received and ordered filed on motion
of J.B.Berkemeyer seconded by R.PiHowell.
