W, I M T:Tayor Claim of R.Ciwoods for refund on license fees paid for Insurance Agent in the amount of 40.00 was referred to the Commissioner of Finance for report. The Bond of W,A.Richardson, City Pharmacy, for " On Sale" Beverage license at 842 Higuera Street, with John tl.ileilsen and James A. 3enetzky as Sureties, was ordered cancelle and Sureties released from further obligation, the Principal terminating the handling of Beverage. Claims against the City for the month of September 1933, were ordered paid, on motion of R:P.Howell seconded by T.B.Berke.ieyer, subject to the approval of the heads of the respective departments and the 'Iayor. A cosnunication from L.H.Gibson, District Engineer, Division of Highways, District 5 together with resolution dealing with designated State Highways within the City of San iuis Obispo was received and referred to the i:layor, Commissioner of Public ;forks and the City -engineer. Application of Foster & Eleiser Com any for permit to place two sign Boards on I:Iartha Spengler property in Block 13 I- onterey Street frontage, granted on motion of J.3.Berkemeyer seconded by R.P.Howell, with the provision that said signs be removed at the pleasure of the Council. r. The Merchandising Bond of Ray C. Hogue, Surety S.B.Hogue, was approved and the Surety accepted on motion of R.P.Howell seconded by J.B.Berkeraeyer. The application of Fred Thornburgh for On Sale " Beverage license at 1032.Chorro Street, together with Bond was denied on motion of J.B.Berkerzeyer seconded by.:-,.-.Howell.' Application of The Pacific Telephone and Telegraph Company for permit to place 1 pole on Story `street denied, on motion duly seconded and carried. Latter atter of unpaid licenses for the July quarter 1933, referred to the City Attorney. The following matters pending were continued : Petition of M.= .Tonini in re use of a portion of �yca:3ore Street; Petition of P.A.H.Arata in re Tax Sales; Petition of T.F.'aeaver in re pre:aises at 1416 palm Street and the petition of ;.F.
