Present : J.3.3erke- .ieyer, L.J.Defosset, R.P.Howell, Joseph Leary, L.!O.Sinsheimer. Absent : None. The minutes of December 18th and 26th were read and approved as read on motion of J.B.3erkemeyer seconded by --R.P.Howell. The applications of Jeiuiie Robasciotti and Delphin Robasciotti for license for Lunch Counter and Cigars Sideline at 1034 Idorro Street, and the application of :,i.P.Tognazzini for license for Hotel at 1025 Court Street, were referred to the Commissioner of public Health Safety for investigation and report to the Council, on motion of J.B.Berkemeyer seconded by R.P.Howell. Lierchandiaing Bond of IJrs Gladys h. LdcLinn, with A.A.Sauer as Surety was received on motion of ?.P.Howell seconded by J.B.Berkemeyer the Surety was accepted and the Bond pproved, Application of Freeman Sign Service for permit to hang a metal sign with w.00d frame t Economy Drug Co., 770 Higuera Street , referred to Commissioner of Public Health and Safety or report to the Council. The reports of the City Clerk and the City Treasurer for the month of November 1933, those of the City Collector and the Police Judge for the month of December 1933, were ceived and ordered filed on motion of J.B.Berkemeyer seconded by R.p.Howell. Herchandising 3ond of C.E.Cooper, with O,H,Sears and C.J.Bailey as Sureties , was red cancelled and the Sureties relieved of further responsibility, the principal having Fulfilled obligation under said Bond. Communication read from Coast amusement Co relative to "skill ball tango ". Clerk to advise that games of such nature were not permitted under City urdinance. On motion of J.B.Berkemeyer seconded by Joseph Leary it was ordered that membership in Pacific Coast Building Officials Conference be renewed for the Calendar year ending December 31st 1934, at the membership fee of $ 10.00 per year. Claims against the City for the month of December 1933 were ordered paid, subject to the approval of the heads of the respective departments and the Mayor, on motion of R.P.Howell seconded by L.J.Defosset. Applications for the regular quarterly licenses were granted on motion of L.J.Defos seconded by R.P.Howell, Applications of O.T.Buck for licenses for Restaurant and Cigars Sideline at 1032 ,horro Street were denied on unfavorable report and motion of L.J.Defosset seconded by J.B.Berkemeyer, as was also, the application of Victoria Duchi for license for Hotel at 964 ro Street. Application of the Pacific Telephone and Telegraph Company for permit to do certain ork on Nipomo Street near .corner of Higuera Street, as set out in application on file, was ted on motion duly seconded and carried. All matters pending were continued to the next meeting.
