City Hall, Monday, June 18th 1934' -'7;30 P.?d,
City Council met in regular session - Mayor L.F.Sinsheimer presiding.
Present : J.B.Berkemeyer, L.J,Defosset, R,P.Howell, Joseph Leary, L.F.Sinsheimer.
Absent : None,
The minutes of June 4th and 11th were read and approved as read on ;notion of
F..P.Howell seconded by J.B.Berke:neyer.
The application of Ed :iartin for license for Restaurant at -1023 norro Street
was referred to the Coi:nissioner of Public Health and Safety for report to the Council.
Petition of L.Vj.I u cGuire,et.al- .,.requesting the Council to extend sewer main
for a distance of approximately 500 feet from Idurray Street,in a northerly direction
along Stenner Street, was referred to the City engineer for checking and report to the
Council.
Applications for the regular quarterly licenses were referred to the Commiasionej
of Public Health and Safety for report to the Council.
Applications of H.T.Hedlund for licenses for Restaurant, Cigars Sideline and
Dance Hall at 1085 Higuera Street ( Winter Garden ) were granted on motion of L.J.Defosseo
seconded by J.B.Berkemeyer, as was also the applications of John ',V, Sullivan for licenses .
for Cigars Sideline and Soft Drinks at.1068 mill Street.
Petition of H.WV Rudolph for permit to erect a Neon Sign at Rudolph's Electrie at
717 Eiguera Street was granted with the provision that said sign be hung in accordance
with the provisions of Ordinance and under the supervision of the City engineer.
In re.: 000peratiee: work, Forest Service- Fire Protection On motion of
F.P.Eowell seconded by J.B.Berkemeyer it was ordered that-$ 100,00 be appropriated from
the "'ity Water round, to be applied•• on salary of Patrolman for San Luis Obispo ',rater Qhed.
for the Summer Season 1934,
Unfinished matters were continued to the next meeting.
