Kelley of the >.iidland Counties Public Service Corporation, requesting him to appear before the Council on ilonday evening, July 16th., and present facts, figures and plans for proposed overhead lighting system for the City of San Luis Obispo. C.E.Freeman and film Roo4well appeared in re license for sign painter. Matter discussed, and taken under advisement Until the next meeting of the Council. On motion of'J.B.Berkemeyer seconded by R.P.Howell the meeting adjourned,. Approved this day of 19340 ciyClevic— Llayor. City Hall, Monday, July 16th 1934 - 7 :30 P.I.I. City Council met in regular session - Mayor L.F.Sinsheimer presiding. Present : J. B. Berke iaeyer, L.J.Defoseet, R.P.Howell, Joseph Leary, L.F.Sinsheimer. Absent : None. The minutes of July 2nd. and 9th. were read and approved as read on motion of R.P.Howell sec ,)nded by J.B.Berkemeyer. The following application for permit to build was granted on motion of J.B.Berke;aeyer seconded by R.P.Howell : Roman Catholic Church - Repd4rs to Mission Church Building Block 11 Cost 2,000.00 The Merchandising Bond of Geo. Pounder; with Cecil G. Evans and J.H.Hollister as Sureties, was received and on motion of R.P.Howell seconded by J.B.Berkemeyer the Sureties were accepted and the Bond approved. The reports of the City Clerk and the City Treasurer for the month ending June 30th 1934 were received and ordered filed on motion of J.B.Berkemeyer seconded by R.P.Howell. The�:matter of the application of J.C.mcPheeters for license for Lunch Counter at 1015 I.torro Street, and the matter of unpaid licenses were laid over to the neat meeting. Matter of Meat Inspection discussed and continued to the next meeting. Re: Sign Painters License : Matter discussed and it was moved by R,P,Howell and seconded by J.B. Berkemeyer that Sign Painters Ordinance be amended changing the fee of � 5.00 per quarter to $ 12.00 per year payable in advance. The motion carried by unanimous vote. The City Engineer presented specifications: Information for and Instruction to Bidders for furnishing certain items of mechanical equipment for a proposed Sewage Treatment Plant - In accordance with the above, on motion of L.J.Defosset seconded by Joseph Leary, the City Clerk was directed to advettise for Bids to be submitted until 8 :00 o'clock P.Id. August 16th 1934. Chas J. Kelley appeared in re proposed lighting system. No action. On motion of L.J.Defosset seconded by J.B.Berkemeyer the meeting adjourned to ?Monday, July-23 rd 1934 - at 7 :30 P,M, Ayes : J.B.Berkemeyer, L.J.Defosset, R.P.Howell, Joseph Leary, L.F.Sinsheimer, Noes: None.
