Discussion was had relative to a proposed Ordinance licensing Neon Sign Companies,
City Attorney requested to bring draft of an Ordinance for the next meeting.
The petition of Twenty Trirty Club a 93 , by L. V. Richardson, Chairman of Road
Sign Committee, for permit to erect a joint Service C1ub.Sign at the North and the South
entrances to the City, was referred to the Commissioner of Public Health and Safety for
report to the Council on motion of J.B.Berkemeyer seconded by Joseph teary.
The applications of Leroy.S. Carter for licenses for Restaurant and Amusement
'arlor at fainter Garden , laid over for report from Commissioner of Public Health and Safet
Applications of midland Counties Public Service Corporation.# 222, 223, 224
225 and 226 were continued for further investigation.
Re : License report . utter continued -to the next meeting to permit further
collections.
On motion of J.B.Berkemeyer seconded by R.P.Eowell the meeting adjourned to

City Council met in adjourned session - 'Jayor L.F.Sinsheimer presiding.
Present : J:B.Berkemeyer, L.J.Defosset, R.P.Howell, Joseph Leary, L.F.Sinsheimer.
Absent : None.
Petition of Swift and Company for permit to install one 280 gallon undergaound
gasoline storage tank at 573 Higuera Street, referred to the Commissioner of Public Health
and Safety for report to the Council, on motion daly seconded and carried.
The report of theCity Clerk for the month ending February 28th 1935 received
and ordered filed on motion of R.P.Howell seconded by J.B.Berkemeyer.
Petition of The Better Government Club, by H.O.Pence, Chairman, relative to
the use of certain equipment and certain personel of City Departments for certain purposes
was received. It was moved by R.P.Eowell, seconded by Joseph Leary that the petition
be received and placed on file. Motion lost. Discussion . It was then moved by
L.J.Lefosset seconded by Joseph Leary and carried that the matter be laid over until
further evidence be brought before the Council.
Petition of United Workers Association of San Luis Obispo County, Local #1
by J.W.Ogden, Grievance Adjuster, re : installation of proposed new Street Lighting system
received and ordered placed on file, on motion of R.P.Howell seconded by Joseph Leary
J.L.Anderson and others appeared and requested the Council to contribute to a
Fund for advertising the City of San Luis Obispo as a Convention City. matter discusse
and made a special order of business for meeting of April 8th.
On motion of L.J.Defosset seconded by J.B.Berkemeyer applications for the
regular quarterly licenses were granted.
Application of Twenty Thirty Club # 93 for permit to erect a joint Service
Club Sign at the North and South entrances to the City was granted on motion of L.J.Defos
seconded by R.P.Howell.
