Application of Chester -dygal for license for Pool Tables at 162 Higuera Strait
again laid over.
On motion of J.3.3arkemeyer seconded by R.P.Howell , Jackson G. 'ailson was
granted license for Tobacco 'lending machine at 427 Higuera ztreet.
Applications for the regular quarterly licenses were granted on motion of
.1.P-Howell seconded by Joseph Leary.
Petition of Union Hardware and Plumbing Co for permit to out pavement on Court
Street between Irlonterey Street and Higuera Street to repair defective sewer line leading
from Carpenter Building granted, on motion of J.B.Berkemeyer seconded by R.P.Howell, with
the provision that work be done under the supervision of the City Engineer.
Petition of Rundle's Inc. for permit to hang a Neon Sign for-.G.H.Shadinger; at
1129 Monterey Street, granted with the provision that said sign hang in accordance with the
provisions of Ordinance and work be done under the supervision of the City Engineer.
.Matter of unpaid licenses laid over to the next meeting.
Petition of Arthur C. Geemen and others, together with letters from various
residents of the District were read,.petitioning the Council to install electric street
lights in Loma Vista addition. Matter discussed and on motion of R.P.Howell seconded
by Joseph Leary was referred to the Co:iimissioner of Public Gvorks; together with matter of
a certain Culvert on F :_urray Avenue.
On motion of J.3.3erkemeyer seconded by .P-Howell the meeting adjourned to
onday, January 13th. 1936, at 7 :30 P.11.
