The reports of the City Treasurer for the month of 1.1arch and of the City Collectlor or the month of April 1936 were received and ordered filed on motion of R.P.Howell seconde Joseph Leary. On motion duly seconded and c -rried claim of the City Tag Collector in the amoun f w 201.50 , same being for Second Installment of Tax due for the year 1935 -1936 , from the ity of San Luis Obispo for the i��iprovement of Palm Street, Lower riguera street, and Broad treet was passed. Clerk instructed to 4raw warrant on Interest round for said amount. In a communication S.A.ITash Boulden, -orest supervisor, requested contribution, as in previous years, as part of a cooperative fund for the payment of the salaries of the patrolmen at Lopez and Cuesta areas. for report. biatter referred to the Commissioner of Finance 11 Petition of Mrs Nellie Quintana and Ida keveney for an adjustment on certaih delinquent taxes for the year 1933 -34 received and referred to the Commissioner of Finance for investigation and report. On motion of R.P.Howell seconded by Joseph Leary Claims against the City for the ionth of April were ordered paid subject to the approval of the heads of the respective Departaents and the '-.ayor. Applications of Veteran's of Foreign Wars, dated March 19th., 23rd., 26th. and 30th.9 and, April 2nd., 0th., 9th., 13th. and 16th for Boxing and Virestling at Winter Gard were granted on motion of - E-P.Howell seconded by Joseph -eary. On motion of J.B.Berkemeyer seconded by R.P.Howell the following applications fo: permit to connect with sewer were granted : i,irs Ed Rodriguez - on Fig Street between Osos Street and Sta Rosa Street, Anita Hathway - Westerly side of Hathway Avenue near Murray Street. Re : communication of Grace E. Barneberg relative to certain Street light on na Street; It was moved by J.E.Berkemeyer seconded by Joseph Leary and carried that he said communication be received and placed on file. Re :Merchants petition on Sunday closing Ordinance : City attorney presents afts of Ordinance. ?:Matter discussed. City :attorney to bring a re -draft of proposed rdinance for the next meeting. Resolution Iio. 393 ( New Series ) A resolution accepting a Deed from Lawrence H. Poulsen and Lucille Poulsen for Sewer right -of -way, on westerly line of north Broad Street in Section 27, was introduced and adopted on motion of L.J.Defosset seconded by J.3.3erkemeyer by the following vote : ayes : J.B.Berkemeyer, L.J.Defosset, n.P.Howell, Joseph Leary, L.F.Sin:heimer. :;oes . i�one. Re : matter of extension of westerly end of Sandercock Street to Beebee Street .Discussion It was moved by n.P.Howell seconded by L.J.Defosset and carried that the City Engineer be instructed to furnish the Council with plan of the proposed Street and surrounding streets. Re : Highway routing through City : It was moved by L.J.Defosset seconded by E.P.Holwell and carried that the Clerk send a certain Idap,.together with letter of transmittal to Lester B. Gobson, Division Engineer of highway Commission, advising that said Map expresses the present idea of the Council in regard to routing traffic through the City of San -Luis Obispo. On motion of J.B.Berkemeyer seconded by L.J.Defosset the meeting adjourned to Monday, May 11th 1936 at 7 :30 P.M. Ayes J.B.Berkemeyer, L.J.Defosset, P.P.Howell, Joseph Leary, L.F.Sinsheimer.
