The report of'.the City Collector on unpaid licenses for January quarter 1937
referred to the Police Department for collection.
On motion of L.J.Defosset seconded by J.B.Berkemeyer the petition of F.S. Coelb
for permit to erect a Neon Sign at 1019 Chorro Street was granted with the provision that
work be done in accordance with the provisions of Ordinance and under the supervision of
the City Engineer.
The following applications of the Pacific Telephone and Telegraph Company for
permit to do certain work, i.e.:
a 1 - On Marsh St at San Luis Furniture Co. and on Branch Street near corner of Branch
and Story Street.
2 - Replace poles at various locations.
3 - Work on Church Street at the foot of Santa Rosa Street:- were granted on favorable
report and motion of J.B.Berkemeyer seconded by R- P.Howell.

Re : request of California Iilission Trails Association for contribution of $50.0'
It was moved by R- P.Howell and seconded by J.B.Berkemeyer that the City of San Luis Obispo
appropriate $ 50.00 to the said California Mission Trails Association provided the City
may legally do so. The motion carried. Joseph Leary voted " No ".
On motion of J.B.Berkemeyer seconded by L.J.Defosset the meeting adjourned to
L.Ionday, March 8th 1937, at 7 :30 P.I,:.

was also, the application of John Norton Pharmacy for transfer,of license for Lunch Counter
at 796 Higuers Street to T,:Iildred Lovelady.
On motion duly seconded and carried the petition of LIrs Louise Thurlow for permi
to remove certain trees from park area of sidewalk at 1045 Islay Street, referred to the
Commissioner.of Public -dorks for investigation and reoprt.
Report of the Police Judge for the month of February received and ordered placed
file.
Re : Road Deed from R.S.Shatford. I:Matter referred to the City Engineer
or report.
Petition of Rundle's Inc., for permit to hang a iaeon Sign for J- J.Donovan at
68 `:Monterey Street granted on motion of L.J.Defosset seconded by J- B•Berkemeyer with the
rovision that said sign be hung according to the provisions of Ordinance and under the
upervision of the City Engineer.
