P. Howell, seconded by J. B. Berkemeyer the surety was accepted and Bond approved. Application of John B. Berkemeyer & Son for permit to connect with sewer on guere Street between Osos Street and Santa Rosa Street referred to the City Engineer for report on motion duly seconded and carried. Application of i,lidland Counties Public Service Corporation --241 for certain work on South Street between Broad Street and Beebee Street referred to the Commissioner of blie Works for investigation and report. The report of the City Treasurer for the month of Zebruary and of the City lector for the month of ? aarch, 1937, tirere received and ordered placed on file. The merchandising Bond of Luke Tractor & Equipment Company was ordered cancelled certified check in the amount of $200.00,filed as security, was ordered returned, the aid firm having fulfilled obligation under said Bond. Claims against the City for the month of I;Iarch were ordered paid, on motion of . P. Howell, seconded by J. B. Berkemeyer, subject to the approval of the heads of the spective departments and the 14ayor. Applications of Robert Olgisti for licenses for Lunch Counter, Soft Drinks and igars as a Sideline at 1019 Court Street granted on motion of J. B. Berkemeyer, seconded y R. P. Howell. On motion of J. Sinsheimer. Absent: None. In accordance with the provisions of Charter regulation, the Council acting as a canvassing board, now proceeded to convass returns of the ueneral 'V-Lunicipal Election held on Monday, April 5th, 1937. Tabulation following shows result of vote cast at such Election and as convassed by the City Council.
