There was discussion re : traffic Stop Signs on South Broad Street. City
Attorney to draft ?esolution.
On motion of R.r'.Howell seconded by Joseph yeary the Commissioner of Supplies
the Commissioner of Public Health and Safety were directed to get prices on mechanical
Clorinator for 1,7ater Supply.
Unfinished matters continued to the next meeting.
On motion of J..B.Berkemeyer seconded by R.P.Howell the meeting adjourned to
Monday, June 14th 1937, at 7 :30 P.I.T.
Ayes : J.B.Berkemeyer, L.J.Defosset, R.P.Howell, Joseph Leary.
Noes : None.
Absent : Liayor L.F.Sinsheimer.

Company as Surety wJ,s approved and the Surety accepted on motion of R.D.Howell seconded by
J. 3. Berkemeyer.
Application of, Jens Bennedsen for permit to lay 50 ft of 7 ft park sidewalk,
curbing and gutter on the east side of Santa :osa Street between Pacific Street and Pismo
Street, granted with the provision that work be done under the sui.envision of the City
Engineer.
The report of the Police Judge for the raonth ending i ::ay 31,1957 received and
ordered placed on file.
Petition of R.I.I.Cobb for per=mit to sell fire crackers and fire works at 1208

each Street granted on motion -duly seconded and curried.
Application of Roosevelt Highway Association, by J.i!.i.7oses President, for permit
to hang a single face neon Sign on steel post inside property line on east side of Santa
:osa Street at the intersection with : :Ionterey Street, Block 31, sign reading " Roosevelt
High %jsy" tides received matter discussed, and referred to the Commissioner of public 4lorks
and the I ::ayor with power to act.
Application of L.H.Gibson, District 11,=gineer California Highway Commission, relative
to the installation of route shields and Signs at Santa !3osa and P..Ioriterey Street intersection,
designating Roosevelt Highway again continued.
Re : petition of Radio Station H.V.B.C. for Sewer and .+ater service for Studio at
Hill and I :ountain View Streets: City Engineer's report read. Latter discussed and
on motion of J.B.Bernemeyer seconded by .P.Hlowell the application was granted - work to
be done under the supervision of the City Engineer.
