The reports of the City Clerk aiid the CitN, Treasurer for the month of Septe: ber
1937, and the reports of the City Collector, Police Judge and the Pound ,faster for the
month of October 1937 were received and ordered placed on file on motion of R.P.Hoviell
seconded by J.B.Berkemeyer.
Petition of Joe Bianchi for permit to construct reinforced concrete retaining
wall across San Luis Obispo Creek for roadwaW purpose , referred to the Cimmissioner of
Public 'e'Vorks and the City E�zgineer for investigation and report.
On motion o- ?.P..1-Towelleeseconded by J.B.Berkemeyer claims against the City for
the rnonth of October we're ordered paid subject to the approval of the heads of the respect
Departments and the f:iayor.
Application of Steve I :iendoza for license for Restaurant at 885 Palm Street grant
on favorable report of the Oommissioner of Public health and Safety.
On motion of Joseph Leary seconded by R.P.Hov,ell the Chief of the Fire Jepartmen
and the Chief of Police were ordered to furnish the Council with a list of all employees
the respective dep :rtments iA,ith a schedule of hours employed. i::otion c-- .rried.
