Present : J.B.Berkemeyer, L.J.Defosset, R.P•Howell, Joseph Leary, L•F.Sinsheimer. Absent : None. The minutes of February 21st and 28th were read and approved as read. Lauer - dba El Monterey Billiard Parlor - On Sale Beer - 986 monterey St. Chief of Police filed report on above application and on motion of R.P.Howell seconded by J.B.Berkemeyer same was received and ordered placed on file. The report of the City Treasurer for the month of January 1938, and the report of the City Collector and the Police Judge for the month of February 1938 were received and ordered placed on file. Claims against the City for the month of February 1938 ordered paid on motion Of R.P.Howell seconded by J.B.Berkemeyer subject to the approval of the heads of the respective departments and the Mayor. Claims of Harry ;. Haskins, Sheriff, in the amount of $ 60.00 and $.48.50 for the months of December 1937, and the month of January 1938, respectively, for meals furnii ad prisoners committed to San Luis Obispo County Jail by Police Judge, for the respective months, were denied on motion of Joseph Leary seconded by J.B.Berkemeyer. Claim of F.M. Love in the amount of $ 5.06 for certain repaire:to automobile of H.Pieree, poundman, referred to Commissioner Joseph Leary for adjustment, on motion duly seconded and carried. ' Report of the City Collector on unpaid licenses for January quarter received and referred to the Police Department for collection. Theo M. Maino again appeared relative to certain filing fee for -building permit After discussion matter referred to Commissioner R.P.Howell and the City Attorney ; they to confer with I-Ir Maino. ' Fatter of Radio interference was discussed informally. The application of Ted E. Braswell and William H. Vega for license for Parcel Delivery Service, 2038 I,:urray :ivenue, granted on motion of L.J.Defosset seconded by J.B.Berkemeyer. Application of Neon Sales and Service, by E.i,I. Andrei, for permit to install a 1�eon Sign at O.K.Luneh, 208 Higuera Street granted, on motion dilly seconded and carried, work to be done in accordance with the provisions of Ordinance and under the supervision of the City = engineer. Report of the City Engineer on the proposed extension of Sewer on westerly and of Sandercock Street, and on Carmel Street between Pacific Street and Pismo Street read ; Re : sewer westerly end of Sandercock Street Fatter discussed and left over to:--the Commissioner of Public Works for further report. Re : petition of Rudolph Riarshall for extension of sewer on Carmel Street between Pacific Street and Pismo Street : Matter discussed. It was moved by _ ?.P.Howell seconded by J.B.Berkemeyer aad carried that the City Engineer be instructed to proceed with the con- struction of sewer on Carmel Street between Pacific Street and Pismo Street in accordance with plans and specifications therefor. Rudolph Is4arshall to deposit $ 50,00 with the ' City of San Luis Obispo prior to the beginning of said work, to cover portion of cost of said sewer , as per his agreement, Unfinished matters continued. On motion of J.B.Berkemeyer seconded by R.P.Howell the meeting adjourned to Monday, Earch 14th 1938 at 7 :30 P.M, Ayes J.B.Berkemeyer, L.J.Defosset, P.P.Howell, Joseph Leary, L.F.Sinsheimer.
