Petition of Stanley Rogers for permit to place a portable fire proof steel stand
on ":riitchell.Lot from which to sell soda etc during night ball games was granted on motion
of L.J.Defosset seconded by J.B.Berkemeyer with the provision that the same be removed
at the pleasure of the Council.
Application of Stanley Rogers for license for the sale of Soda, Peanuts, Popcorn,
etc., at litchell Lot, ,granted on motion duly seconded and carried.
Application of Rundle's Inc., for permit to hang a Neon Sign at D & D Lunch
( Ray Stillings ) 968 T.Tonterey_ Street granted with the provision that said sign be hung i
accordance with•the provisions of Crdinance- and under the supervision of the City Engineer
'On'- motion of J.B.Berkemeyer seconded by Joseph Leary the apnlication of the
Santa :.aria Gas Company for permit to open a trench 1' x 200' on Figh Street between
Cypress Street and -Deebee Street for the purpose of installing 3" gas service main Qranted
work to be -supervised by the City Engineer.
Application of Minnie E. Myers for permit to open Street to connect with sewer
on i..Torro Street between Leff Street and Church Street granted on motion of T.B.Rerkemeyer
seconded by Joseph Leary - work to be done under the ^3inervision of the City Engineer;
Provided further, that the Street be not cut until it is determined whether sewer is
already-taken to property line.
Application of John V.Lemos for permit to open trench to connect with sewer on
3,.:ontalban Street between Santa Rosa Street and .;teener Creak granted, work to be done
under the Supervision of the City Engineer.
Re: Building Code Report of City Engineer regarding earthquake clause for
proposed new Code read. Discussion. `! atter of adopting revised Code continued.
