The minutes of September 6th and 122th were read and approved as read.

Street and Sant, Rosa Street was referred to the Commissioner of Public Health and
Safety for investigation and report to the Council on motion of T. n. Berkemeyer,
seconded by R. P. Howell.
Application of Midland Counties Public Service Corporation 7249 for permit to
do certain work on _Murray and Grand Avenue between Graves Street and Grand Avenue,
more particularily set out in application on file, granted on motion of J. B. Berkemeyer,
seconded b r Joseph Leary with the provision that work be done under the sum rvision of
the City 'Engineer.
Application of Albert Nelson for permit to lay 25 feet of 5 feet park sidewalk
and curbing on the north side of High Street between Church Street and Ni
pomo Street
zranted, with the provision that work be done under the supervision c;f the City Engineer.
Applications of Frank 'E. Smith for licenses for Restaurant, Soft Drinks and
Cigars Sideline at 978 Monterey Street were denied on motion of R. P. Howell, seconded
by J. B. Berkemeyer.
