B. Berkemeyer, seconded by R. P..Howell by the following vote: Ayes: J. B. Berkemeyer, R. P. Howell, Joseph Leary, L. F. Sinsheimer Noes: None Absent: L. J. Defosset The Chief of Police, H. A. Payton, filed report from the State Board of Equalization to the effect that the application of M. Garcia, dba "Ranchito" at 846' Palm Street for license for "On Sale Beer and Wine" had been denied. The report was ordered placed on file. On motion of J. B. Berkemeyer, seconded by R. P. Howell, the meeting adjourned to Thursday, April 27, 1939 at 7:30 P. M. Ayes: J. B. Berkemeyer, R. P. V. Cline for permit to erect a marquee at 978 Monterey Street - The Blue Bell Coffee Shop, granted on motion of L. J. Defosset, seconded by R. P. Howell with the provision that the work be done under the supervision of the City Engineer. On motion of L. J. Defosset. seconded by R. P.
