Action on the matter of a certain map of the Nelson Subdivision held over. There was discussion relative to fixing fee for licensing of outside bakeries, laundries and dry cleaning works soliciting business in the City of San Luis Obispo. Cn motion of-R. P. Kennedy, seconded by R. P. Howell with the provision that work be done under the super- vision of the City Engineer: H. B. Kirtland & H. Parks - Service Station, Pt lots 13 & 141 Blk 29, Cost $3320.00 W. W. Gilmore - New foundation and addition, Lot 20 Blk 1192 M & C Addn. " 600.00 The petition of Refugio Lopez for transfer of license for Restaurant and Billiards and Pool, at 887 Palm Street to A. Lemos was referred, on motion of R. P.Howell, seconded by Ralph C. Kennedy to the Commissioner of Public Health and Safety for inves- :igation and report to the Council. The application of A. Lanotti-for permit to lay 75 ft. of 5 ft. park sidewalk Dn the north side of Islay Street between Santa Rosa and Toro Streets granted on motion )f Ralph C. Kennedy, seconded by W. H. Brazil with the provision that work be done under the supervision of the City Engineer. The application of H. B. Kirtland and H. Parks for permit to lay 30 ft of 5 ft. park sidewalk; and recess curb and ramp 70 ft. of sidewalk area, full width, on the east aide of Santa Rosa Street between Marsh and Higuera Streets; also, to recess curb for a 1' 1 1 1 istance of 30.ft. and ramp sidewalk area full width on the north side of Marsh Street n 69 etween Santa Rosa Street and Toro Street was referred to the Commissioner of Public report back to the Council. Howell with the provision that work be done in accordance with Ordinance and under the supervision of the City Engineer: Valley Electric Co. - Neon sign for Lagomarsino's Liquor Store, Osos and Higuera Streets Jalley Electric Go. - Electric sign for San Luis Bowling Alley, Santa Rosa & Higuera Sts. Rathway, relative to deed for a certain street to be n as "Ellen Way" to the City of San Luis Obispo was continued. The City Attorney presented final map of Tract No. 30, known as "Escuela ta" Subdivision ( Albert Nelson Tract) said subdivision being part of Sections 25 and 26,. ownship 30 S.,.Range 12 E.,.M. D. M. in the City of San Luis Obispo. Matter discussed and Resolution No. 473 ("ew Series) - A--Resolution approving final map of Tract o. 30, "Escuela Alta" Subdivision was introduced and adopted on motion of Ralph C. Kennedy (Seconded by Joseph Leary by the following vote: Dyes: ff.H.Brazil, R..P.Howell, Ralph C. .�:ennedy, Fred C. Kimball,Joseph Leary oes: None Absent: None ' Resolution No. 474 (Ne-nr Series) - A Resolution providing for the execution of an Agreement between the City of San Luis Obispo and Albert H. Nelson et ux relating to the !^Teter System in Tract No. 30; "Escuela Alta" Subdivision was passed and adopted on motion of Ralph C. Kennedy, seconded by R. P. Sart.er, for permit.to, open trench ft x 12 ft. to repair oil pipe line on Pismo Street.between Nipomo.and Broad Streets was referred to the Commissioner of Public Works and the City Engineer, with power to act. The following applications for contractor's licenses were received and on motio: of-R. P. Howell, seconded by W. H. Brazil, the bonds were approved, sureties accepted and registration granted: (Fred Brouillet - Class "D" Contractor - U. S. Fidelity & Guaranty Co. Bond $500.00; registration fee, $15.00. fRoinestad & Roinestad - Class "E" Contractor - U. S. Fidelity & Guaranty Co. Bond $500.00; registration fee $15.00 Better Plumbing Co. ( A. I. Johnson) - Class "E" Contractor - Aetna Casualty & Surety Co. Bond $1000.00; registration fee $15.00. The petition of C. A. Maino et al for the improvement of Ella Street between Osos and Johnson Ave. was received and referred by the Mayor, to the City Engineer for report back to the Council.
