Kimball, Joseph Leary Noes: None Absent None Re: Communication of Santa Maria Gas Co. relative to franchise again brought up; The City Attorney discussed the matter at length with the Council, and it was ordered that the letter be received and filed. Kennedy s instructed to call for informal bids for insurance on motorized equipment ( for public iability and property damage) and,.report back to the Council on October 6, 1941. Brazil; work to be done under the .supervision. of the- City Eng e Mead - To out curb for a distance of 10 ft. for driveway on E. Broad St. between Islay and Buchon Streets. Silva - To break curb for driveway and construct 14 ft. of new curb where old driveway was located on the Southside of Monterey Street between Andrews St. and City Limits. The application of Robert Armstrong for license for Taxicab at 1190 Monterey Street transfer of license from C. M. Long,.Fi111ng Station at 1680 Monterey Street to J & M. sson was granted on motion of W. H. Brazil, seconded by R. P. Howell.
