The application for permit to build filed by L. L. Adams to do general repairing
on building, Lot 4, Elk. 1082 M & C Addition at a cost of $475.00 was granted on motion of
R. P. Ho-.-,ell, seconded by Joseph Leary.
This being the time set by the City Council to receive bids on 1915 Seugrave
6 cyl. sire engine as advertised and as per minute order of the City Council on December
90th, 1943, and on motion of Joseph Leary, seconded by R. P. Howell, the one and only
bid of :;61700 submittea by P. S. and 'J. i'l. Hirsch of Los Angeles, Calif. was accepted.

Re: Bid of Ford Pickup referred to R.P.Howell at meeting of City Council dated
December 20th. On motion of R. P. Hoiaell, seconded by Joseph Leary, the bid of $78.00
submitted by Cecil Brown on 1931 Ford Pickup was accepted,
Ordinance No.253 (New Series) - An Ordinance prohibiting the.discharge of certain
substances into the Sanitary Sewer System of the City of San Luis Obispo, declaring this
inance to be an urgency ordinance and providing penalties for the violation thereof
as finally passed and adopted on motion of R. 1'. Ho:aell, seconded by Joseph Leary upon
he following vote:
