Center was denied on motion of Kline Williams, seconded by G.W. Baker.
The application-of Imperial Exposition.Shows Inc. for Carnival the week of March
�Ast to 30th inc. - location South and "Higuera Streets..was granted on motion of Kline
lWilliams, seconded by R. P. Howell. This application was previously denied on account of
location ( Exposition Park site).
The following,applicat•ions for transfer of licenses were granted on motion of

Commissioner R. P. Howell was instructed to remove three acacia trees from
Mitchell Park.
By common consent of the Council it was ordered that Ford Sedan License #E 61893
be transferred from the.Police Dept. to the Fire Dept. andFord Sedan, License
#E 61861 be transferred from Police Dept..to the Dept. of Public Works.
The application of Hazel Blanks for city license for a pet -shop at 1629 Johnson
Ave. was again held over.
On motion of.R.P.Howell, seconded by G.W.Baker, the City Clerk was instructed
to call for bids as per specification for furnishing the city steel pipe - bids to be
received up to 7:30 P.M. April 7, 1947:
