This being the time set for receiving bids on City Fleet Insurance, the follow-
ing is a list of all bids received:
1 - Maurice W.Fitzgerald Bid submitted on behalf of the Pacific Indemnity Co. Amt. $876.71
2 - E.H.Atkinson- Bid submitted on behalf of Truck Insurance Exchange - Amt. $798.50
On motion of Wm. 0. Hall, seconded by G.W. Baker it was moved that the bid of
E.H. Atkinson ih the amount of $798.50 be accepted and policy awarded to the Truck Insu
Exchange.
Communication from Dept. of Public Health, State of California, Re: Sewage
Disposal Permit was referred to Commissioner Howell for study.
The following matters were referrd to Commissioner of Public Health and Safety
for report:
Communication from Chamber of Commerce Re: Christmas Street Decorations and rgquesting
assistance from the city for their equipment.
Communication from Steve Zegar Re: Loading Zone at Monterey and Chorro Streets for the
furniture store.
Communication from Oscar Cummings, making application for school crossing guard
The reports of the Building Inspector and City Clerk for the month of October

Ordinance No. 292 (New Series) - An.Ordinance to Regulate, Restrict-, and
Segregate the location of industries, business, trades, apartments, dwelling and other
specified uses; To Regulate and limit the height and size of buildings hereafter erected;
to regulate and determine the area of yards and other open spaces.; For said purposes to
divide the City into districts or zones; To establish a Board of Adjustment; To define
the terms used herein; To provide for the enforcement and prescribe penalties for the

violation of its provisions; and to repeal conflicting ordinances, was finally passed on
motion of R.P.Howell, seconded by Wm.0.Hall upon the following roll call vote:

10 of Ordinanue No. 222 (New Series) Entitled "An Ordinance Defining and Regulating the
use of Mechanical Amusement Devices in the City of San Luis Obispo; Providing for the
issuance of licenses to th'e operators and owners of, and licenses for use, operation and
maintenance of mechanical amusement devices; Providing for the impounding and confiscation
If such devices when installed, operated or maintained to be operated in violation of
this ordinance; Providing for a saving clause; and Providing penalties for the violation
of this ordinance was passed and adopted on motion of trim. 0. Hall, seconded by G.W.Baker
